Darphin

Darphin was founded in Paris in 1958 by Pierre Darphin. The brand grew out of his research at the Darphin Skin Institute in Paris, on releasing plant actives in a controlled way, and was an early European adopter of aromatherapy in skincare.

The Estée Lauder Companies acquired Darphin in 2003 from the family of André Bénet. Today it is a botanical skincare brand sold in dozens of countries.
