excusemyroutine.com is operated by Audrey Gaillard, trading as Excuse My Routine, a French sole proprietorship (micro-entreprise) registered under SIRET number [SIRET en cours d'attribution auprès de l'INPI], with registered address at 7 rue Félix Potin, 91290 Arpajon, France. What personal data we collect
- Order information: name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number, and the products you purchase.
- Payment information: processed directly and securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your card details.
- Contact form submissions: name, email, order number (if relevant), and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
- Technical data: basic browsing information (such as pages visited) collected automatically to keep the site running correctly.
Why we use your data
- To process and ship your order, and to communicate with you about it.
- To respond to your questions sent through the contact form.
- To send you our newsletter, only if you subscribed (double opt-in), with an unsubscribe link in every email.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations (invoicing, tax records).
Who we share your data with
We share the minimum necessary data with service providers who help us run the site and fulfil orders: Stripe (payment processing), our shipping carrier (La Poste, for delivery), Netlify (website hosting), and Brevo (newsletter emails). These providers only use your data to perform their service for us.
If you choose to accept it, Google may also receive information about your order (such as its date and value) through the Google Customer Reviews program, so it can invite you to rate your shopping experience. This is always optional: Google only contacts you if you accept the survey invitation shown after checkout.
How long we keep your data
Order and invoicing data is kept for the duration required by French accounting and tax law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@excusemyroutine.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr).
Cookies
The site uses technical cookies strictly necessary for it to function (such as remembering the contents of your cart). No advertising or tracking cookies are used for marketing purposes.
If you accept a Google Customer Reviews survey invitation after checkout, Google may place cookies or use similar technologies (such as tracking pixels) on your browser as part of that program, in order to let you rate your shopping experience. You can manage or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings.
