Aliza Jabès founded Nuxe in Paris in the early 1990s, after taking over a small natural cosmetics laboratory. She has been its CEO since 1989 and is its majority shareholder, alongside the Belgian investment group Sofina, which holds 49%. The brand pairs plant ingredients with sensorial textures.
Its Huile Prodigieuse, a multi-purpose dry oil, launched in 1991 and remains its best-known product. The Rêve de Miel lip balm followed in 1994. The first Nuxe spa opened in Paris in 2002.
