SVR began in 1962 in the backroom of the seaside pharmacy of Simone Véret, in Ault. Her first products were a sun protection product, Filtrasol, and a soothing care, Calmobrul. Her husband Robert Véret encouraged her to take her work beyond the pharmacy, which led to the creation of the SVR laboratory.
SVR is now a French dermo-cosmetic brand sold in pharmacies. Its [A] range is built around retinol-based formulas designed for an evening skincare routine.
