The Laboratoires Dermatologiques d'Uriage were created in 1992 around the thermal water of Uriage, a spa town in the Isère at about 410 metres of altitude. The products are made in the Isère, at the spring itself. In 2011 the Puig group, with the investment company Invest M3, acquired the laboratories.
The Hyséac range is aimed at oily and blemish-prone skin.
